Join Ojai Roots and Beato Chocolates for an intimate evening that blends art history, wine, and chocolate into one immersive experience. Together we’ll follow the extraordinary life of Beatrice Wood—from the birth of the Dada movement in Zurich, to Wood’s early days in Paris, to her earning the title “The Mama of the Dada” and finding her forever home in Ojai, a town she describes as “The gold at the end of a long obstacle-strewn rainbow.”

This six-course guided tasting will feature:

• Six Beato Chocolates, each inspired by a different phase of Wood’s life and work.
• Six thoughtfully chosen wines, each connected to the places she lived and the artistic worlds she inhabited.
• Seasonal small bites, echoing her story and life
• Chocolate Tasting will be led by Lisa Casoni, co-owner of Beato Chocolates, sharing Beatrice Wood’s journey and her enduring connection to Ojai.
